For a long standing memory, capture the fun and excitement of the memorable day of having a wedding in a pandemic and when we do part 2 on the anniversary next year to be able to show the other guests the service from part 1

We have looked at your trailers for weddings and are absolutely in love with the way you create everything! We definitely feel we have chosen the right people to capture our special day!

Ian – Senior Director of customer success at a major IT company ( salesforce/Tableau)

Jayne – has been a child support worker ( Surrey young Careers) and now training to be an animal reiki Practioner. outside of work Ian enjoys the outdoors and running, Jayne is outdoor girl loving nature, woods, horse and swimming. We both have a passion for music/going to live events like the 80s Rewind festival and enjoying food and drink. Important in life is family, friends, health, love and laughter

Met on Tinder 4 years ago, then last year for our 50th birthdays ( we are 2 days apart on 14th and 16th May 1969) we went to Mauritius and proposed on the first night over dinner – it was a big surprise To Jayne

Why do you want to capture your wedding at The Ravenswood on film?

The main two reasons for us is that we want to have a beautiful video of the day to feel as though we can re live the moment whenever we want to and to also be able to show the video to family that will not be able to make the big day.

Is there a favourite film of yours on our web site? We’d really love to know which one and why?

We really like Lydia and Steve’s wedding video, just as we love the angles and the way it’s filmed in general! As cheesy as it sounds it just feels so beautiful watching it, as if you feel the love they have for each other and it really is beautiful!

Why did you pick us to film your wedding at The Ravenswood?

You guys?… What do you do ?.. How do you spendyour days?.. What’s important in life?

Both myself and Mo are full time police officers and it’s a really struggle with work sometimes especially lately! Trying to get time to enjoy life and to relax. We love spending all of our time together whether that be with friends or just the two of us. We absolutely love spending our time outdoors regardless of the weather. We love going for long walks and just enjoying each others company. Time together and with family is very important to us and we always make time for them. We love our jobs and just enjoy life!

Was there a proposal? Tell us everything?

In December we had gone down to a work do and had both agreed that regardless of the weather, when we got to the point of having enough and wanting to split from the group, we’d go for a walk along the beach. This was in Brighton. At the time we were with our closest friends and were enjoying a walk along the beach, even though it was rainy and fairly windy we really had such a nice time! As we were walking, we came across this beautiful upside down house that was all lit up in the dark and just glowed! It was stunning, the waves coming in to the shore and the glow of light from this house, the laughter of our friends as we walked along the beach in the rain. Mo then stopped me right underneath the upside down house and began to tell me how much he loves me, at that moment he got down on one knee and pulled out the most beautiful ring from his pocket! At this point i was crying my eyes out and before he had even asked me i had already begun to frantically nod it really was so perfect and there’s not a single thing i would change.

The Ravenswood… Why this wedding venue above anywhere else?

We chose The Ravenswood as it really is us all over. We absolutely love the outdoors and there’s so much land at The Ravenswood that is simply stunning! We love the boathouse and the beautiful outdoor lights in the secret garden! The ruins are amazing and we just love the place so much. As soon as we had gone to view the place we fell in love straight away! The fire place is another one of our favourite features at The Ravenswood as it adds so much character to the place and will look amazing in the photographs!

What’s in store for your guests when they arrive at the venue?

We would just love to have our guests enjoy themselves and to be able to go home the next day knowing that it’s been a day to remember! Both myself and Mo are very chilled people and just want people to feel relaxed and to be able to have a laugh on the day.

A road trip of a life time, a journey for love

Why do you want to capture your wedding in Gibraltar on film?

So many people say their wedding day flew by and they can barely remember anything, and I wanted a way to be able to look back on the day that wasn’t just photographs… a video captures the atmosphere and vibe of a wedding so much better I think, and it gives you the gift of seeing moments from the day you as the bride and groom are usually too caught up in the whirlwind of it all to actually witness. Being the absolute sap that I am, I want to be able to sit down and watch the wedding video back in thirty years’ time with my husband and think “Wow. Look at us, look how happy we were… how lucky are we that we still have that happiness now?”.

Why did you pick us to film your wedding in Gibraltar

You’ve done such an amazing job at my friends’ weddings and the two of you are such lovely people that there wasn’t anyone else we ever would have considered – it was you or nobody! I remember meeting you at the first of my friends’ weddings and thinking you were part of the extended family, then when I found out you weren’t and saw the finished video… Blew my mind!

Is there a favourite film of yours on our web site? We’d really love to know which one and why?

I will forever love Sam and Sam’s video because you captured the day perfectly and the music lifted the whole thing… it was beautiful! In terms of videos on your site currently, I really like Sam and Paul’s video both from a visual/audio perspective but also because I instantly felt like I knew them because you’d captured them so well!

You guys?… What do you do ?.. How do you spendyour days?.. What’s important in life?

I’m a claims handler for an insurance broker and Jon runs his own I.T Support business, so when we’re not at work Jon loves to ride one of his motorbikes with his dad and brother to get away from his screen for a bit, while I quite like reading and chilling out with the dog. I’ll often meet Jon post-ride at his parents’ house with the dog so we can spend some time with them in the garden, which usually leads to the boys discussing bikes while me and his mum discussing our latest knitting projects – a hobby I share with my mum as well.

Family is really important to us both so we like spending time with both sets of parents, but to be honest nothing can beat a lazy weekend of the two of us and the dog chilling on the sofa binge-watching something on Netflix together. I think one of the most important things in life is being content and happy in those ‘quiet’ moments, where neither of you needs to say much for it to still feel like you’ve had the best conversation anyway.

Was there a proposal? Tell us everything?

Oh, yes! The two of us met in Majorca, so in hindsight I should have known we were going to get engaged there too, but I didn’t really think any of it when we booked to go away early last year… I also didn’t think anything of the fact he was super shady at the airport going through security and wouldn’t let me near his hand luggage – I just thought he was being really weird and couldn’t believe how long he was taking since he’d pretty much pushed me into a separate security line so I’d go through way before him!

He was a bit quiet on the flight, which isn’t unusual since neither of us particularly like flying, and he seemed perfectly normal in the taxi until we got to our hotel. There was a huge queue to check-in and lots of people were being turned away and told to leave their hand luggage in the luggage room, but when we eventually go to the front of the queue it turned out our room was ready, which I thought was great but made Jon panic because he thought maybe his mum had called ahead and asked them to decorate our room which would have spoiled the surprise! He usually lets me walk in front of him and holds the door open for me (because he’s really sweet like that), but when we were walking to our room he walked in front of me and was really weird at the door and sort of ‘checked out’ the room before letting me go in, which was just plain strange but I brushed it off anyway.

My knees were hurting from the flight so I sat down on the bed and was stretching my legs (so glam, so attractive… NOT) while Jon paced back and forth, rapid-fire asking if I wanted food or the beach or a walk or a drink or something. That wasn’t too out of character for him because he usually likes to go for a walk straight after a flight, so again I didn’t think anything of it and asked him to help me stretch my legs first, then was getting ready to go when he suddenly said “Wait a sec, I need to give you something before we go”… Next thing I know, he’s down on one knee, asking me to marry him! Spoiler alert: I said yes!

Honestly, it was just the best day – we did go for that walk along the beach right after and spent the entire day in a happy bubble, which then carried through the whole long weekend we were there… it was amazing.

Minstrel Court … Why this wedding venue above anywhere else?

We picked Minstrel Court because we wanted something more ‘low key’ and ‘us’ rather than a big, fancy, posh venue, but also needed something big enough to accommodate everyone we wanted to invite since we have a really big family. We found Minstrel Court after a LOT of searching, and as soon as we arrived we both felt really comfortable and fell in love with how gorgeous it was – the photos we saw didn’t do it justice.

The moment we both knew it was ‘the one’ without a doubt, though, was when we walked down to the outdoor ceremony pavilion which overlooks the lake and stood at the end of the aisle together… I got goosebumps, and we both turned to each other and said ‘this is it’.

Our plans have now changed a bit since we’ve decided to get married just the two of us in Gibraltar and then have the ‘big do’ at Minstrel Court next year, but the magic of that lake and the pavilion will be just as special next year and I can’t wait!

What’s in store for your guests when they arrive at the venue in 2021?

We want our guests to feel comfortable, happy and to simply have a lovely time. We want them to feel like they’re part of the day rather than just observing us getting married and being shuffled around for pictures here and there. We hope they’ll have fun and let their hair down, which is what the two of us will be doing!

Why do you want to capture your wedding at The Garden Barn on film?

At first, this was because there were some family members who were unable to make the journey on the day, but who would have absolutely loved to be there, so we wanted to give them the opportunity to see everything rather than just a few snippets of films caught on guests’ phones. As it turns out, we hadn’t realised how much of the day would just go by in a blur, and how much of the day we would miss while having our photos taken, and so I’m so happy we chose to capture everything on video so we can watch it back and remember it.

Why did you pick us to film your wedding at The Garden Barn

You were recommended to us by a colleague of mine who had used you for her wedding video.  She showed me the highlights video and I loved what I saw.

Sadie & Adam.  Love the little touches at their wedding, and the sunset shots taken at the end of the day.

You guys?… What do you do ?.. How do you spendyour days?.. What’s important in life?

I work in brand marketing and Drew works in pharmaceuticals so we work during the week 9 to 5.  Drew’s daughter lives with us half the week, so when we’re not working we’re normally mucking about or watching TV together.  We had a 2 year old labrador who keeps us busy and entertained with lots of walks and mischief.

Was there a proposal? Tell us everything?

Yes, a lovely proposal on Old Hunstanton beach in March. Drew was trying to find the perfect time when the beach was empty, but just as he was about to propose a family walked past and a little boy and girl decided to bring their bucket and spade over and build a sandcastle right next

to us, so he had to be patient and wait until they had gone 🙂

The Garden Barn … Why this wedding venue above anywhere else?

We loved The Garden Barn because not only was it absolutely beautiful, but it also gave us the

flexibility that we wanted to put our own stamp on the day. Unlike a lot of places, we could bring our own drinks and choose our own caterer. We didn’t want our guests to have to travel during the day, so having the ceremony and the reception in the same venue was really important.  Emily,

who owns the barn was the perfect host – there when we needed her on the day and the day before but never interfering.

What’s in store for your guests when they arrive at the venue?

We wanted our guests to feel at home, relaxed and comfortable all day.  We didn’t want anything too formal, which is why we asked our brilliant caterers (Puddinis) to create a sharing roast dinner style meal so people could pass plates to each other and generally get chatting over food, and in the evening we had a platter of food that people could just help themselves to.  We hoped for nice weather, but being in October we couldn’t guarantee it, so we had a marquee with a beautiful flower wall so that people could take pictures of friends and family inside, but with a nice backdrop.  As it turned out though, we were really lucky and didn’t have any rain.

Why did you pick us to film your wedding at Morden Hall

We met The Foden’s at an open day at Morden Hall and we asked them if they could recommend a videographer and they recommended your company. We went on your website and instantly fell in love with your work.

Is there a favourite film of yours on our web site? We’d really love to know which one and why?

Old Bridge Young Love, It was the first and only video I watched and it was enough. I cried and I knew that you were the company to go for.

You guys?… What do you do ?.. How do you spendyour days?.. What’s important in life?

We are Business Consultants. Family and friends are our everything. PlayStation and Air Soft, we love to travel, meditation and nature and being free in the outdoors.

Was there a proposal? Tell us everything?

Yes there was, it was the evening I arrived back from a week abroad visiting family. Andrew positioned me in front of the mirror, told me to close my eyes, he put a gold necklace on me and told me to open my eyes. There was a ring attached. He told me to close my eyes again and he turned me around and when I opened my eyes he was on one knee and asked me to marry him. I said Yes of course. We had been together for 4 months, we fell in love kind of instantly and a week away from him in another country was enough for him to know he never wanted to be apart from me again. It was so romantic. Dreams do come true 🙂

Morden Hall. We fell in love with it instantly and with us, when you know you know. We don’t look elsewhere just like when we saw your website and watched one video we knew you were the company to go for.

Why do you want to capture your wedding at South Lodge Hotel on film?

As the day will probably have lots going on and become incredibly busy we would like to watch it back and see the moments we missed or that may have felt rushed through.

Why did you pick us to film your wedding at South Lodge Hotel

Because you guys are super lovely and you managed to make conversation with my mother which automatically meant I was going with you guys XD

Is there a favourite film of yours on our web site? We’d really love to know which one and why?

We liked different bits of several films that we watched such as some of the ‘slowed down’ moments.

So currently we’re both working in aviation (pilot and cabin crew). We like to spend our days outside when we can and with my dog. We love dogs, and are happy watching old episodes of Parks and Rec! We love travelling, and seeing our friends, both are very important to us in life.

As a family they are really big on taking Photos & videos, starting at Swanbourne lake with the proposal. It may have taken 14 years and 4 kids to get to their magical day… But boy was it emotional.

Why do you want to capture your wedding at Cissbury Barns on film?

As a family we are really big on taking Photos & videos & we wanted something we will have forever to share with people that weren’t able to make the day & it’s some to show our grandchildren, one day in the far far future! Also by having a videographer there you get to see all the bits you missed throughout the day. As a bride I got to see what my groom & his men got up to in the morning. I also waited 14 years for my day so wanted to have something I could watch over & over.

Is there a favourite film of yours on our web site? We’d really love to know which one and why?

We loved all your work. I really had our heart set on some kind of coloured smoke effect shot on our day although we didn’t see this this in your other films when I asked it was an immediate yes we can! We loved your attitude to making our moments unique.

Why did you pick us to film your wedding at Cissbury Barns

I went to the wedding fair at the Amex in Brighton especially to look for a videographer, I had spent many many hours looking for someone online & met others at various wedding fairs but they just didn’t seem to capture the day like I had envisaged in my head. Then I met Nick at the Amex & I just clicked with him straight away, he got me & my sense of humour. I knew then I had to have The Filming company to capture our day. Also after seeing some buskers on the internet I decided I wanted smoke & boy did Nick & Rob deliver they researched it all & the best way to do it.

All the guests were complimenting on it & it looks amazing on the screen & in the pictures!

I Zorina was made redundant at the end of last year so at the moment I am a stay at home Mummy. We have 4 beautiful children so they keep me busy. Daniel works in civil engineering & works away the majority of the time.

Was there a proposal? Tell us everything?

There certainly was a proposal, Daniel took me & the kids to Swanbourne lake in Arundel on my birthday. Little did I know he had arranged a photographer to be there & capture the moment by pretending to be there taking photos of the ducks/lake but he was in fact capturing it all!

Cissbury Barns … Why this wedding venue above anywhere else?

We chose Cissbury barns in Findon for our venue. We chose it because the setting is just stunning & Helen who runs things there was just amazing & again we clicked & it felt right for us.

What’s in store for your guests when they arrive at the venue?

We wanted a big party feeling, we wanted a relaxed fun feeling for our guests. It really was an emotional day.
